How long does it take for you to forward e-mail on to us?

When we receive e-mail addressed to your website, this is then sent on to your e-mail provider.

If we also provide your dial up facility, the mail is available in your inbox as soon as you dial up to collect it.

If, however, you dial up via a different provider, we are at the mercy of their mail servers as to how quickly the mail is available to you. Most ISP’s can turn the e-mail around in a matter of seconds, however if there is any congestion due to over subscription or traffic congestion (it happens on the Internet too!), the time delay may lengthen.
If a mail server is permanently unreachable, our servers will return the e-mail to its origin with an ‘un-deliverable’ error message
