Can I dial into your servers from abroad?

All our servers work on a local call rate. This means that they have to be able to identify the area code from which you are dialling in order to ‘pretend’ to be in the same area as you. (This is VPOP or Virtual Point Of Presence technology).

Some European countries telephone exchanges send out a readable area code allowing the VPOP technology to work, however most do not and in these circumstances you WILL NOT be able to dial in from overseas.

If you need to receive your e-mail whilst abroad, the simplest solution is to take out our web based e-mail service and have your mail duplicated to this account (see here for details). This allows you check your e-mail from any computer providing it has a working dialup connection.
